Résumé
Dans le domaine du soin, et tout particulièrement en réanimation, l’éthique est le plus souvent assimilée à l’analyse et à la résolution de tensions ou de conflits de valeurs dans une situation concrète et singulière. On parle volontiers d’éthique clinique pour nommer la démarche collégiale qui cherche à discerner la meilleure (ou la moins mauvaise) décision, illustrée par les décisions de limitation ou d’arrêt de traitements de suppléance vitale (LAT) visant à éviter ou à faire cesser une obstination déraisonnable.
