Contrairement à la patiente qui ovule déjà spontanément, la patiente anovulatoire ne possède pas de sécrétion endogène cyclique de gonadotrophines. Cette situation recouvre toutefois plusieurs réalités qui ne connaissent pas le même abord thérapeutique.
