Résumé
Les lymphoedèmes des membres sont dus à un dysfonctionnement du système lymphatique responsable d’une stase de la lymphe. Les lymphoedèmes secondaires aux traitements du cancer du sein sont les plus nombreux en France avec une fréquence estimée entre 15 et 20 % après curage axillaire et entre 2,5 à 9 % avec la technique du ganglion sentinelle [1]. Il s’agit d’une maladie chronique, dont les risques principaux sans traitement sont l’augmentation progressive de volume, la survenue de complications infectieuses (érysipèles) et le retentissement sur la qualité de vie.
