Résumé
L’intoxication par la théophylline a remarquablement augmenté ces dernières années, et ce, en raison de sa large prescription ainsi que l’introduction de la forme à libération prolongée [1]. Elle touche préférentiellement les sujets de sexe féminin. Les intoxications graves peuvent aboutir au décès ; la mortalité rapportée est de 0,6 %, et est essentiellement liée aux complications cardiaques et neurologiques [1, 2, 3].
