Résumé
Les maladies cardiovasculaires constituent l’une des premières causes de mortalité dans l’Union européenne et les pays développés et représentent un motif majeur de consultation dans les services d’urgences. La troponine fait partie intégrante du diagnostic d’infarctus du myocarde (IDM). Bien que les nouvelles générations de réactifs de troponines dites « ultra/hyper-sensibles » améliorent considérablement la qualité analytique des dosages, il reste séduisant de pouvoir exclure l’IDM dès les premières heures de la douleur thoracique avec une approche multi-marqueurs. Dans cet esprit, la voie du stress endogène représentée par le dosage de la copeptine représente une voie physiopathologique complémentaire particulièrement intéressante.
