Ischémie intestinale chronique

Résumé

L’ischémie intestinale chronique (IIC) est la conséquence d’une insuffsance artérielle chronique dans le territoire splanchnique. Dans ces circonstances, la perfusion artérielle de l’intestin grêle, suffsante à l’état basal, devient inadéquate et insuffsante lorsque les besoins en oxygène augmentent, comme en période post-prandiale. Il faut habituellement une obstruction d’au moins deux des trois troncs digestifs pour que l’IIC devienne symptomatique.
