Résumé

La vascularisation cérébrale est assurée par quatre axes cervicaux : 2 artères carotides internes (fig. 2.1) et 2 artères vertébrales (fig. 2.2). Les artères vertébrales se rejoignent sur la ligne médiane pour former le tronc basilaire. À l’étage intracrânien, chaque carotide interne bifurque en artère cérébrale antérieure et artère cérébrale moyenne. Le tronc basilaire donne naissance aux 2 artères cérébrales postérieures.
