Résumé

Sous le vocable de sarcome des parties molles, on regroupe une grande variété de tumeurs malignes dont la différentiation exprime le plus souvent des analogies avec les tissus d’origine mésodermique ou plus rarement ectodermique (sarcome des gaines nerveuses périphériques ou sarcome d’Ewing extrasquelettique). On soupçonne que les sarcomes proviennent soit de cellules souches, qui correspondraient alors aux sarcomes indifférenciés, ou de cellules de lignées plus différentiées donnant alors des caractères reconnaissables de tissus adipeux, musculaire lisse, nerveux, etc. [1].
