Résumé

D’abord employé dans la chirurgie de l’ostéomyélite chronique diaphysaire tibiale [1], le lambeau musculaire de gastrocnémien a vu ses indications s’étendre aux pertes de substance traumatiques de la jambe. Parallèlement, Orticochea en 1972 [2] décrivit le premier la transposition de peau surmontant le muscle, alors que McCraw et al., quelques années plus tard [3], ont montré que la peau surmontant le muscle reçoit sa vascularisation des perforantes musculo-cutanées.
