Résumé
On étudie d’abord, pour un satellite quelconque, la position de l’orbite par rapport à la direction du Soleil, en insistant sur la notion de l’heure de passage. On s’intéresse ensuite plus particulièrement aux satellites héliosynchrones pour lesquels cette position relative fournit la définition même de leur orbite.
