Abstrait
Les accidents vasculaires cérébraux (AVC) représentent la troisième cause de décès aux Etats Unis et une cause majeure de handicap. Au travers de cet article, un groupe d’expert a retenu les indicateurs de qualité (IQs) considérés comme les plus pertinents pour la prise en charge thérapeutique d’un AVC dans une population de sujets âgés vulnérables. La revue des données de la littérature se rapportant à chacun de ces indicateurs a fait l’objet d’une analyse détaillée.
