Résumé

Le terme général de «tumeur endocrine» (TE) (1) désigne toute tumeur développée à partir des cellules du système endocrinien diffus, caractérisée par ses capacités sécrétoires indépendamment de son siège et de son origine embryologique endodermique ou neuro-ectodermique. Le carcinome médullaire thyroïdien est exclu de cette définition.
