Résumé

Le mélanome, dont l’incidence est croissante avec un taux de 3–4 % par an (1–3), est la lésion métastatique la plus fréquente au niveau du tractus gastro-intestinal (5). Ainsi, les examens anatomopathologiques post mortem des patients ayant présenté un mélanome révèlent un envahissement du tractus digestif dans 50 à 60 % des cas. Cependant, un diagnostic ante mortem d’envahissement secondaire du système digestif n’est fait que dans seulement 0,9 à 8,9 % des cas. En cas d’atteinte gastro-intestinale, l’intestin grêle est le site le plus fréquemment envahi, suivi du côlon et du rectum (6).
