Résumé
Le lymphome à cellules du manteau (LCM) est une lymphopathie B maligne auparavant dénommée lymphome centrocytique, classe E de la Working Formulation. Le terme de LCM date du début des années 1990 (1). Le LCM représente entre 5 à 10 % des lymphomes malins non hodgkiniens. La prévalence est estimée de 0,5 à 3 cas pour 100 000 habitants par an. On notera que l’incidence augmente régulièrement plus rapidement que celle des autres lymphomes. La médiane d’âge au diagnostic est comprise entre 60 et 65 ans avec une nette prédominance minance masculine (sexe/ratio de 4 pour 1).
