Abstrait
Le cancer du sein, en raison de son incidence élevée et de son agressivité, a suscité la recherche active de facteurs de risque qui permettraient de mieux en comprendre les mécanismes de croissance et de prévenir et de limiter son développement. Le risque histologique se définit pour une patiente chez qui vient d’être diagnostiquée une lésion histologique bénigne comme le risque de développer ultérieurement un cancer du sein associé à la nature et l’importance de cette lésion histologique. Les lésions dites « à risque » répondent aux lésions bénignes dont le niveau de risque est élevé en comparaison avec le risque de la population générale.
