Abstrait

L’âge est un facteur de risque majeur du cancer du sein. Exceptionnel avant 25 ans, très rare avant 30 ans, son incidence augmente de façon exponentielle jusqu’à l’âge de 45-50 ans où elle ralentit pour continuer d’augmenter ensuite de manière sensible surtout dans les pays à risque élevé. L’incidence maximale est observée entre 60 et 69 ans, supérieure à 320/100 000 (23). Les taux d’incidence diminuent légérement ensuite pour atteindre 245/100 000 à 85 ans.
