Abstrait
Une plaie traumatique peut être occasionnée par la pénétration dans l’organisme d’une arme blanche, d’un projectile, d’une arme à feu ou de tout autre corps étranger quelle qu’en soit sa nature. Les traumatismes abdominaux pénétrants restent en France actuellement proportionnellement toujours nettement moins fréquents qu’aux États-Unis. Ils sont avant tout responsables de plaies des organes creux, contrairement aux traumatismes fermés qui occasionnent le plus souvent des contusions des organes pleins intra-abdominaux.
