Abstrait

Le syndrome ďinsuffisance cardiaque aiguë (SICA) est ďune importante hétérogénéité étiologique et clinique, et ses lieux de prise en charge peuvent varier. Ces éléments expliquent que les études qui considèrent le SICA comme une entité clinique distincte soient rares et récentes. En effet, les études disponibles se sont généralement centrées sur une seule des facettes de ce syndrome — contexte étiologique, physiopathologique ou mode de présentation —, tels la décompensation de ľinsuffisance cardiaque chronique, ľinsuffisance cardiaque dans les suites de ľinfarctus du myocarde, ľœdème aigu du poumon, ou le choc cardiogénique.
