Abstrait
Ľinsuffisance cardiaque aiguë (ICA) est définie comme ľapparition rapide de symptômes et de signes cliniques, allant des signes de congestion à ľétat de choc, secondaires à un fonctionnement altéré du coeur (1). De nombreux mécanismes peuvent en être à ľorigine: altération de la fonction systolique ou diastolique du ventricule gauche (VG) ou du ventricule droit (VD), atteintes valvulaires, maladies du péricarde, déséquilibre entre la précharge et la postcharge des ventricules, anomalies du rythme ou de la conduction cardiaque.
