Abstrait
Les métastases rachidiennes localisées à la charnière cervicothoracique sont relativement fréquentes (15 % des tumeurs rachidiennes (7). Lorsque le diagnostic est tardif, elles induisent une instabilité rachidienne, associée ou non à une compression médullaire. Dans ces circonstances, le traitement chirurgical est le plus approprié. Son objectif est d’assurer la décompression nerveuse et la stabilisation vertébrale. Pour cela, il est nécessaire d’accéder directement à la lésion par voie antérieure.
