Abstrait
La nutrition entérale (NE), initialement développée en France par Étienne Lévy au début des années 1970 (1), s’est rapidement imposée comme une technique de renutrition majeure et elle a pris une place de plus en plus importante dans ľarsenal thérapeutique dont nous disposons, aussi bien pour les patients hospitalisés qu’à domicile. Plus physiologique que la nutrition parentérale, c’est la technique de renutrition de choix lorsque le tube digestif est fonctionnel. Au cours des vingt dernières années, elle a bénéficié ďaméliorations technologiques considérables qui concernent la voie ďabord, les produits nutritifs ainsi que leur mode ďadministration.
