Abstract
This material addresses three principal themes:

The range of meteorological analysis situations found in environmental assessments.

Elements of professional practice for the meteorologist, in particular related to the selection of data and assessment methods.
-
The importance of understanding the confidence limits associated with various types of meteorological analyses used to investigate alternative environmental impacts.
