Abstract
Remission in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is complex and multifactorial. The last 30 years have seen an exponential increase in the volume of publications relating to remission in RA (Figure 5.1) resulting in a greater understanding of the remission state, yet many questions remain unanswered.
