Abstract

One of the main stumbling blocks in devising effective treatment of radiotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (RINV) has been a lack of consensus on the emetic potential of different radiotherapy techniques and doses. The literature that is available suggests that extent of irradiation is one of the major determinants of risk for RINV.
