Abstract

Different imaging techniques are available for thoracic evaluation. Depending on the clinical scenario, the assistant physician can choose among them, focusing on the indication and prioritizing imaging of the thoracic wall, pleural space, mediastinum or lungs. We briefly review the most available noninvasive imaging methods for the evaluation of the thorax.
