Abstract
After twelve years of development, research into stochastic distribution control has gone through a number of stages from the early B-spline-based control design to the recent input and output model-based design for general stochastic systems. During these developments, many novel techniques such as LMI-based convex optimization, NN and fuzzy dynamic modeling, structural and adaptive tracking control, and model-based FDD have been developed and widely used to formulate controllers together with effective closed-loop analysis. This book has established a unified framework on SDC, where after the introduction in Chapter 1, in the following chapters we focused on the structural controller design, two-step intelligent optimization modeling and control for SDC systems, statistic tracking control driven by output statistical information, and FDD for SDC systems.
