Abstract
Complementary and alternative medicines (CAM) are widely used by people with arthritis and related diseases. It is important that health-care providers are familiar with the most commonly used CAM therapies to respond to queries from patients. Questions regarding the use of CAM therapies should be asked as a part of the comprehensive history and physical examination.
