Abstract
Moving coil actuators are based on the interaction of a magnetic flux provided by a permanent magnet and the electrical current flowing in the so-called moving coil. The geometric dimensions are shown in Figure 4.1. For the sake of simplicity and without loss of generality it has been assumed that l 1 = l 2 = l 3.
