Abstract

This method is applicable for a very small to a large vitiliginous area. Up to 1:10 donor to recipient area expansion can be achieved by floating the MSGs in normal saline and then spreading them on the muslin cloth sheet with the help of the spoon. Pigmentary response is excellent with 1:3–1:5 expansion ratio. The vitiliginous area get pigmented in 3–4 months time and ultimately lead to good color match with the surrounding skin in a few months.
