Abstract

This Intermezzo summarises the AMITUDE Case analyses made in Chapters 3 and 4 to create AMITUDE models of use, or AMITUDE specifications, for the Cases (Section 5.1). We explain usability goals, requirements and evaluation criteria, and extend Case specification to include usability requirements (Section 5.2). Since the Case models of use appear to have been produced by pure thinking, Section 5.3 calls for the broader and more realistic perspective on usability work adopted from Chapter 6 onwards.
