Abstract
This is a relatively uncommon indication for internal iliac artery territory embolization compared with embolization for uterine fibroids, pelvic trauma, and hemorrhage. Prophylactic embolization to prevent type II endoleak pre-endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) is much more common than embolization for isolated internal iliac artery aneurysm (IIAA).
