Abstract

At present, the technique controlling crown and shape of national plate rolling mills is comparatively backward. Aiming at the situation, based on the characteristics of Ji Steel 3500mm plate mill, the plate rolling course is simulated and the lateral distribution of rolling pressure, contact pressure and exit thickness of typical specification product are researched. While the elastic deformation of roll is calculated by influence function method, the thermal deformation of work roll is calculated based on measured data, and the plastic deformation of plate is calculated by stream surface strip element method. The effects of key factors influencing plate crown including work roll diameter, backup roll diameter, work roll camber, backup roll camber on plate crown are quantificationally analyzed, which provides basis for roll camber matching.
