Abstract

The integration of CAD and CAM (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing) still does not include all the tools needed to support the activities related to the product life cycle. Indeed, there are still problems of semantic representation and data point of view. Hence, this article proposes to give a report about the integration of CAD/CAM by highlighting the emergence of handled knowledge.
