Abstract
A new force on the scene discovered a huge business opportunity in the Internet world and has received much attention — the online game publishing industry. Therefore, numerous papers discussing the realm of games have been published in recent years, but the scope of this research is mainly on the marketing development of game titles, the performance of program design and the discussion of educational value. The number of papers dwelling on the evaluation of key points to take note of the sophisticated and numerous procedures in the processes of digital-game product development is still very limited. However, with the advancement of technology, the scale of game development projects has been growing rapidly in recent years. A huge increase in the artwork required means increased difficulty in the relevant quality management. In light of this, the bulk content of this research is focused on the production quality and evaluation of artistic objects over the course of game development. Sheets of evaluation and validation that have been put to use in actual processes are the subjects of study and they are used in our analysis. By introducing the proposed work processes into actual developmental work, we have proven that the proposed model can offer effective quality management and increase effective production capacity by more than 40%. The proposed model of process in the study will help to improve the efficiency of R&D work for the entire video game industry.
