Abstract
Simulation is associated with providing an outcome in terms of quantitative performance statistics for measures of interest such as machine utilisation rates and process cost estimates. However it has been found that there are also useful qualitative outcomes to a simulation study that add to its usefulness and provide a further case for its more widespread usage. This chapter investigates on the qualitative outcomes of three simulation studies.
