Cine images demonstrate that the left ventricle is within normal limits in size. The left ventricular systolic function is globally depressed, and the left ventricular ejection fraction is measured at 34%.

Delayed-enhancement images obtained with the standard segmented technique (first 4 images of the second row of images) demonstrate extensive hyperenhancement of the right ventricular insertion sites upon the septum, extending from the basal to the apical levels. In addition, the single shot images demonstrate apparent enhancement of the midwall of the septum, likely artifactual given the lack of enhancement seen on the high resolution delayedenhancement images.
