She also has a history of hypertension.

The short-axis views demonstrate mild concentric left ventricular hypertrophy, with preserved left ventricular global and regional wall motion. The left ventricular ejection fraction is greater than 55%.

The right ventricle is normal in size and function. Evaluation of the valvular structures suggests the presence of mitral valve prolapse. Mild mitral regurgitation is noted.
