This chapter includes a detailed conception of a metasearch engine using multiagent technologies. A consensus-based approach for integrating answers given by different agents for a given query is presented. Moreover, this multiagent system uses the features of agent technology for making the system be a recommender system. The aim of the project is to create a consensus-based multiagent system to aid users in information retrieval from the Internet.
