Abstract

There are many things that a good computer can do for you in the area of observing the deep sky. I am not going to spend time going over types of computers and their components. Any well-made modern computer will do. A faster processor, more memory and a larger hard drive are nice, but not essential to a computer that will be useful for astronomy.
