Abstract
Sudden cardiac death accounts for >50 % of all coronary artery disease deaths and 15–20 % of all deaths (Gillum 1990; Myerburg et al. 2004). Thus cardiac arrest prevention represents a major opportunity to further reduce mortality (Deo and Albert 2012).
