Abstract
Appropriate metrics are critical in evaluating the quality of care and performance in the field of transplantation. The proper interpretation and implications of research often depend upon the reliability of data sources and the use of appropriate statistical methodology. This chapter provides an overview of the data sources and key metrics that are utilized in the analysis of performance of transplant programs.
