I strongly encourage you to read The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America’s Wealthy [1]. It is not a book on investing, but rather one of the best, if not the best, books ever written on thrift. I am convinced it can save the average physician $10 K or more a year. I also recommend that your spouse and children read it.
