Abstract
Obtaining peer-reviewed grant support is one of your major goals as a new physician-scientist. Because obtaining grant support is such an important and extensive topic, I have divided my discussion into three chapters: Chapter 11, Grants; Chapter 12, Grantsmanship; and Chapter 13, Peer Review of Grant Applications.
Money never starts an idea. It is always the idea that starts the money.
