Abstract

Chordee refers to an abnormal bend or angulation of the penis. In the simplest manner, this can be thought of as a chord pulling the penis up, down, or to the side. This is most noticeable with erections. The cause of the chordee or bend may be due to skin abnormalities, urethral abnormalities (hypospadias or epispadias), or anatomic abnormalities of the erectile bodies of the penis. To help understand this completely, further insight into penile anatomy is warranted.
