Abstract
Bilateral renal agenesis is a lethal anomaly. Unilateral renal agenesis is an embryological entity with few clinical findings or symptoms but may have significant sequelae in adolescence and adulthood. Urological evaluation is important in childhood, and long-term follow-up may be appropriate in many cases to anticipate problems that may develop in the future.
