Abstract

Endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm has evolved dramatically during the last 15 years. From initially a promising experimental technique, applicable only to a minority of patients with aortic aneurysms, to currently a widespread technique that is used in more than one half of patients treated for aortic aneurysm. This chapter presents the current status of this treatment modality for abdominal aortic aneurysm.
