Abstract

The Jones criteria (Table 1) continue to form the core of diagnosing acute rheumatic fever. It is included here because of its association with neurological disorders, such as Sydenham’s chorea, and its etiological link with pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder associated with streptococcal infections syndrome Chapter 10
