Abstract
A 66-year-old right-handed man presented to the emergency room 2 hours after the onset of right-sided weakness and sensory loss, slurred speech, and visual disturbances. He had a known history of hypertension and diabetes mellitus (DM). Examination revealed a right hemiplegia and right hemisensory loss (mainly affecting the face and upper extremity), dysarthria, and a right visual field deficit.
