Abstract

This chapter focuses on the psychiatric presentation, prevalence, and medical complications associated with bulimia nervosa, as well as highlights comorbid psychopathology (Table 1). A more extensive discussion of etiological factors and treatment approaches can be found elsewhere in this text.
