Abstract

The vast majority of pituitary tumors in children are benign lesions. The challenge for the clinical team, usually the neurosurgeon, endocrinologist, and neuroradiologist, is to diagnose those tumors accurately that arise in the suprasellar and sellar region, and to direct the initial and long-term treatment of these patients (1–3).
